COVID-19 Research Disruption Fund RFP
From: Theresa Mayer, Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships and Jay Akridge, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Diversity
Welcome to the new academic year! We hope that you had a chance to refuel over the summer and are looking forward to a productive and successful semester.
We want to thank each of you for your significant efforts and persistence that helped to make 2020-21 a great success, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that the pandemic caused disruptions and delays in research across campus, particularly for work that involved human subjects, field work, international travel, and other activities. To help get the research most impacted by the pandemic back on track, the Offices of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships and the Provost are soliciting proposals that will be supported by $2.1M.
Full details (eligibility, deadlines, process) are provided in the COVID-19 Research Disruption Fund call for proposals.
Please note that the process starts immediately and there are several deadlines, the last one being September 15.
Thank you again for your hard work in such trying times. We look forward to seeing the continued advancement of your research and its impact. Please direct any questions to PurdueResearch@purdue.edu
